Review by John

Sites #3 and #4 are better choices than sites #1 and #2. The site description put out by the NPS says the best water is at the lake inlet. It does taste much better than the lake water, but it's a long walk to get there from the tent area.

Site #1
Pros - Good sitting area
Cons - Ground is slighly sloped
Site #3
Pros - 2 big, flat tent pads that are farther apart than at most sites, great view of Longs Peak
Cons - Not as many rocks and stumps to sit on as at other sites
Site #4
Pros - 3 tent pads that are well spread out (good if your buddies snore); nice area to sit and talk
Cons - Site is slightly sloped

Review by Coop

We had a neighboring group drinking, hooting and hollering the night away. Never had that happen before; hope to never again. It was a nice site, though.

Pros - Good fishing; excellent views; nice hike to Crystal Lake
Cons - Sites are a little far from lake; idiots in the site near us; hike was hard (must be getting old)
