Rating - 4
Pros
- Nice flat tent site.
- Secluded.
- Great cooking area close by.
- Close to water and the falls.
- Gorgeous wooded site.
- Easy hike to lakes Nokoni and Nanita from here.
Cons
- It's a bit of a haul from either Bear Lake or North Inlet Trainheads if this is your one-night destination.
- Some foot traffic at the falls and Lake Nokoni trails, but it seems to go away by mid-afternoon.
- A bit tough to find a really good tree for hanging food.
Comments
- I camped here in the middle of a Bear Lake to North Inlet Trail traverse in the fall of 2007. There are beautiful aspen trees; it is an awesome site. I had Lake Nokoni all to myself - not another soul. I will definitely camp here again.
