Review
Mill Creek Basin is an excellent site for first time backpackers, small children or those with health problems, since it is so close to Hollowell Park Trailhead. It is located open woodlands with little underbrush, so it feels very expansive. The bridge over the stream used to access both campsites is a wonderful place to cook, eat and relax. There are many fish in the stream. The pit toilet has two walls for privacy.
