Focused advertising zeroed in on the Rocky Mountain National Park area.

First and foremost, we're a community of Rocky Mountain National Park enthusiasts. We're mountain climbers, sight-seers, casual hikers, park volunteers, photographers, and mostly just in love with our home away from home...RMNP. The reason for this site is to share our knowledge and experience with others and to help visitors plan their trip to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Now, aside from the fact that there are more people behind this site than is possible to mention, there are two of us who built and run this website - Dixie Manning, and Aaron Deschane.

Dixie has been in love with Rocky Mountain National Park ever since her first visit during her early childhood. In fact, she's long since lost count of the times she has been there. An avid traveller, she is only one state away from her lifelong goal to visit to all 50 states. She also enjoys photography and is a published playwrite.

Aaron became hooked on RMNP while stopping over in Estes Park when returning from a honeymoon vacation. Since that summer of 1996 he's spent every year in that park hiking, camping, sightseeing, and bringing home photo memories. Some of his favorite hikes are Longs Peak, Hallett Peak, and anything in the Wild Basin. Snowshoeing is another favorite activity via the annual STOMP where members of the forums get together every Winter for snowshoeing, fellowship, and fun!
